Gateway Academy provides an alternative learning environment designed to meet the diverse academic and behavioral needs of students while maintaining high expectations for both performance and conduct. The program serves as a bridge for students who benefit from a more individualized approach to education, offering structure, support, and flexibility within a smaller, relationship-centered setting.

Serving students in grades 6–12, Gateway Academy utilizes a blended learning model that combines online coursework with in-person, teacher-led instruction. Similar to the model used at Forsyth Academy, students engage with digital learning that promotes self-direction and accountability while receiving targeted support, interventions, and enrichment from classroom teachers. This approach allows students to progress at their own pace while building essential academic and life skills.

At Gateway, the mission is rooted in helping students “CREATE your story.” This guiding principle encourages learners to take ownership of their education and their future, recognizing that every student’s path is unique.
