Amber Steele - Assistant Principal

It is an honor to serve as the Assistant Principal of Gateway Academy. As a longtime educator and dedicated member of our school district, I am grateful for the opportunity to support students, families, base schools, and staff as we work collaboratively to ensure success for every learner.

I began my career in Gwinnett County before joining the exceptional Forsyth County School District. Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of roles, including Mathematics classroom teacher, Special Education teacher, ESOL teacher, Student Support Coordinator, Graduation Coach, Assistant Administrator, and Assistant Principal. These diverse experiences have shaped my leadership philosophy and reinforced my commitment to student-centered, high-impact educational practices. In my role at Gateway Academy, I am proud to support innovative programming and a learning environment that meets students where they are and empowers them to CREATE their story.
